A good entry on paper but a lot of absentees. I was very pleased with all my winners. The bitches outshone the dogs. My bitch line-up was super. I could have given out numerous CCs, presentation overall very good. MPD (6) 1 O'Neill's Caronlea James Bond, s/w, stood out in this class for his overall balance, clean wedge head, good eye shape, placement & expression, well angulated. A little square at the moment. Super temperament, moved soundly, good all round action. BP; 2 Fryer-Clark, Stanley & Evans' Stud Bolt Vonarkle Macaline, correct wedge head, good eye, alert expression, nice length of neck onto well laid shoulders, spring of rib, moved true with excellent side action; 3 Scott's Colausco Country Affair. PD (0). JD (3,1a) 1 Boyle's Uffspring Utterly In My Soul over Barrenclough, promising s/w young lad of good size & shape. Alas not in his best jacket. Cleanest of heads, correct placed stop, pleasing expression, neat ears, good neck, quarters & croup, bone & feet, moved soundly & true; 2 Abbott's Cotswoldway Solomons Gold, promising youngster with correct height to length ratio, clean head of good proportions, enough underjaw, well set eye & ear placement, moved freely, covering ground well. ND (5,1) 1 U Utterly In My Soul over B; 2 C Solomons Gold; 3 Grindley & Beadon's Lanrue Orthelo. GD (3,1) 1 U Utterly In My Soul over B. PGD (10,5) 1 Thatcher's Bermajo Royal Staff, s/w, stood out, nice head type, well filled foreface, perceptible stop, good eye expression, well angulated, in good order throughout, moved smoothly & soundly; 2 Hoyes' Rifflesea Regal Charmer, masculine, larger all round, good bone, feet, nice expression, moved well; 3 Corben's Mysticteam Bond On Bond via Caprioara. LD (14,5) 1 Cronk's Chelborn Kiss'n Tell, quality tri, masculine, balanced head, well placed stop, lovely eye & expression, neat ears, good forehand, firm loin, moved true with good side action, well handled & first class presentation; 2 Finney's Camanna Coast To Coast at Bahatiview, blue of the best colour, balanced masculine head, good foreface, correct stop, super expression, well made throughout, good angles, nice bone & feet, moved soundly & strongly; 3 McEntee's Gerian Sunworship. OD (7,1) Good class. 1 Hodges' Jopium Cool Touch, quality b/m, excellent clear blue colour, masculine all round, good size & shape, correct wedge head, well filled foreface, enough underjaw, correctly placed stop, almond eyes, used his ears thus giving desired expression, nicely angulated, firm loin, good croup, tip-top condition, moved out freely & soundly, covering ground with ease. CC; 2 Cheb's Elsamos Startraveller, mature s/w, not a big lad but all male, super angulations, pleasing head, eye & expression, good depth of brisket, nice spring of rib, firm loin, in good order throughout, moved true & soundly with drive from rear. RCC; 3 Grainger's Samhaven Time Will Tell. MPB (11,3) Some lovely babies. 1 Hodges' Jopium Soft Touch, promising baby, showing off her virtues, balanced head, developing pleasing eye expression, good front, bone & feet, moved out well; 2 Fry's Linamac Lady Love, blue of nice size & shape, correct wedge head, nice expression, good front & shoulders, moved true & sound; 3 Smith's Aldermeade Olivia Inge. PB (7,3) 1 Tame's Lyndale Summer Lovin at Rahlissa, super size & shape, feminine head, nice expression, moved well, covered ground with ease; 2 Boyle's Carristina Radiant Sunrise over Barrenclough, promising puppy, slightly longer cast. Correct wedge head, lovely expression, moved out well; 3 Smedley's Antoc Tell A Story. JB (6,3) Three lovely bitches. 1 Margetts' Amalie Let Me Be at Collingvale, quality s/w, super outline, shape & size, feminine head, well placed stop, set of eye & ear placement giving pleasing expression, super neck & shoulders, good quarters, moved true & sound; 2 McDowall's Salsina Softer Than Satin at Birkmyre, tri, good for size & shape, feminine all round, clean head, dark eye, lovely expression, neat ears, good bone & feet, moved out freely with drive; 3 Boyle's Uffspring Unchained Melody over Barrenclough. NB (5,1) 1 Steel's Precious Charm at Atendus, s/w, won on overall balance, liked her make, shape & outline, feminine wedge head, well set eye, neat ears giving desired expression, sound on the move; 2 L Summer Lovin at R; 3 U Unchained Melody over B. GB (4) 1 McCann's Buebezi Ensorcellement at Zolkhan, glamorous blue of lovely colour, super shape & size, clean wedge head, neat ears, good neck & shoulders, good depth of chest, spring of rib, firm on loin, moved out with drive & front extension, tip-top condition; 2 O'Neill's Caronlea Dixie Chick, quality tri, feminine head, dark eye giving lovely expression, well set neat ears, good angles & bone, moved sound & true; 3 U Unchained Melody over B. PGB (9,3) Good class. 1 Tame's Rahlissa Aint Misbehavin, lovely make & shape, arched neck, feminine head, lovely expression, moved soundly. Would like the ears a little tighter to complete the picture; 2 Oliver's Camanna Chit Chat, tri of good size & shape, balanced head, pleasing expression, neat ears, good for chest, brisket & croup, moved easily & true; 3 Drewery's Brikazie No Bling Needed for Elshadene. LB (17,7) Lovely class. 1 Brooker's Caronlea Celtic Connection with Corisian, ultra feminine, s/w, balanced head, almond eye, oblique set, sweet expression, neatest of ears, enough neck, good for hand & rear angles, spring of rib, firm loin, moved effortlessly & smoothly, first class condition, credit to her owner. RCC; 2 McLaughlin's Derbypark Could It Be Magic for Brihow, well marked tri of instant appeal, blackest of coats, pleasing head, dark eye, lovely expression, good neck onto well laid shoulders, moved smoothly & soundly; 3 Shipp & Grainger's Samhaven Mystic Charm at Tremaro. OB (10,5) Super class. 1 Sibbald's Lynmead Love Me Too at Telforth, s/w, stunning make & shape, clean feminine wedge head, combination of correct stop, eye shape & set, neatly placed ears giving true collie expression, super arched neck, good shoulders for chest, brisket & spring of ribs, good length of croup & tail in excellent order throughout, moved true, sufficiently covering the ground with ease, handled well. CC; 2 Grainger's Samhaven Moet, quality bitch in excellent order as always from this kennel, correct head, neat well used ears, good neck & front, well angulated, sound on the move, moved with good drive; 3 Smith's Aldermeade Heidi Klum.
