MINOR PUPPY (9,2ab)
Lovely class of promising youngsters to start my day off. 1. Llewellyn’s
Salsina Show Stopper, 6 mth old baby. Lovely balanced head, good well placed
stop beautiful eyes, good ears , all contributing to a truly sweet
expression. He is not a big dog at this stage but has time on his side and
he has enough bone to grow into . Lovely outline, good neat well let down
hocks. Presented beautifully. BEST PUPPY DOG 2. Hartley’s Roanburn Simply
Red, upstanding 7 mth old puppy. I see he has the same sire as my winner.
Good head pattern, nice eye and expression. Lovely reach of neck and body
shape. He showed like a veteran for his handler . In good coat an condition
. Moved well. 3. Iley’s Kynan Vendetta over Ileyda.
PUPPY (3)
1. Nicolls Pepperstone Brigadoon, s/w who stood and showed very well. Nice
head pattern , good moulding of foreface with plenty of underjaw. Good overall
shape and substance, covered in good coat. Moved ok. 2 Beaden & Duffield’s
Myriehewe Reference Point, blue merle who really didn’t want to be here
today. Lovely shaped eyes giving a nice expression. Good ears, although wasn’t
keen on using them. Plenty of neck and well set shoulders. Moved with drive.
3. Sinclair’s Ladnar Mayd Smart.
JUNIOR (6, 1ab)
1. McEntee’s Gerian Sunsation and may I say what a sweet lad he is too.
In lovely coat and condition , presented to perfection . Super headed dog
with lovely rounded muzzle , good stop, correctly placed and shaped eyes,
giving a very sweet expression. Nice overall body shape, lovely well let down
hocks. One with a promising future I am sure. 2. Congdon’s Black Jack
de Cathya via Aaronwell (imp fra) another quality youngster. Tri-colour of
good colour, nice overall body shape, nice hocks and bone and substance. Lovely
balanced head, gorgeous eyes which is so hard to find on a tri. Showed quite
well in this noisy hall. Another guy with a glittering future ahead. 3. Walker’s
Starlenga Austin Powers.
NOVICE (5,2ab)
1. Congdon’s Black Jack de Cathyja via Aaronwell (Imp Fra) 2. Iley’s
Kynan Vendetta over Ileyda, flashy young man. Lovely body shape well filled
in , good bone . Nice eyes and expression, good rounded muzzle , balanced
head. Well set ears when used. Well presented. 3. Collin’s Jopium Touch
of Soul for Triburle.
POST GRAD (11,

1. Skyrmes Emryks Love in Motion. A beautiful class with some top quality
youngsters. This chap stood and showed his heart out, he didn’t put
a foot wrong, in total harmony with his handler. Golden sable in lovely coat
and presented in tip top condition. Exquisite head of correct proportions,
well placed stop, sweet almond shaped eyes giving that wonderful expression.
Plenty of bone and substance. Lovely body shape, well let down hocks, lovely
tight feet. Moved well RES CC. 2. McIntyre’s Timeless Twilight’s
Lone Ranger for Meryctin (Imp NL) another youngster who took my eye as he
entered the ring. Now, when this fellow settles down and concentrates on the
job in hand , will trouble the best. Beautiful masculine headed animal. Super
eyes and expression , lovely ear’s when used. Good overall body shape
covered in correct type coat which was presented well but he just needs a
little more of it to complete the picture. Moved ok.
3. McCann’s Zolkhan Prime Suspect.
LIMIT(4)
1. Waterhouse’s Lynmead Love of my Life, well , I can see why he is
called this- what a beauty- certainly this chap had the X-factor for me today.
Two year old sable in superb coat and condition, presented to perfection.
Well balanced head with good well placed stop, super eyes , placed correctly
. Lovely moulded foreface, good underjaw, correct ear carriage all combining
to give the desired expression I was looking for. Lovely reach of neck and
shoulders. Well off for bone and substance , good outline of body , neat well
let down hocks. Moved with drive. It was my pleasure to award him the CC ,
his title will not be far away I am sure. 2. Congdon’s Topperteams Love
de Lux avec Aaronwell (Imp Den) , this young man completed a trio of quality
imported dogs here today , which if used wisely can only be good for the breed.
Stood and showed like a veteran showing off his many virtues. Very sweet expression,
good head patterns, lovely placed stop, plenty of muzzle and underjaw. Lovely
arch of neck and body shape, super confirmation. A dog whose progress I will
follow with interest. 3. Findlay’s Meryctins Man of Mystery at Firecraig.
OPEN (11, 2ab)
1. Farrell’s Amalie Back in Black, lovely coloured Tri dog who I remember
distinctly having a wonderful harsh texture to his coat which isn’t
seen an awful lot these days. He was presented to perfection. Lovely headed
dog with a beautiful eye and expression. Good rounded muzzle. Just a shame
he wasn’t keen to show himself off but I saw enough for him to win this
class. Moved effortlessly around the ring, in fact one of the best movers
of the day. 2. Sargeant’s Coarhabeg Raphael, s/w chap who is just coming
back into coat , which was groomed to perfection. Beautiful head, eye and
expression. Ear’s when used were well placed . Nice body shape with
good bone. Moved well 3. McCanns Roanburn Black is Back at Zolkhan.
BITCHES:
MINOR PUPPY (10,2ab)
1. Walker’s Amalie Love at First Sight at Starlenga, what a little cutie
. A truly sweet baby , so feminine, just oozing quality. Her head is developing
nicely for her age. Beautiful shaped eyes and good ear carriage giving an
alert expression. Lovely reach of neck and body shape , the right amount of
bone for her age and lovely tight feet. Good coat which was presented in first
class condition. I wish her well for the future. 2 Hollywood’s Amalie
Let This be Love, litter sister to 1. Again a lovely baby with so much to
like about her. A little taller than her sister but still very feminine. A
sweet eye and expression . Well used ears, good reach of neck and well set
shoulders. In lovely coat and condition again presented to perfection. Moved
with drive. 3. Macrae’s Roanburn Sugar Snap at Benuasal.
PUPPY(9,1ab)
1. Hawkin’s Brilyn See the Difference, feminine s/w who excels in make
and shape. Pleasing head patterns , lovely eye and good well placed ears which
she used well. In lovely coat and condition and presented well. Good well
let down hocks all combining to help her cover the ground with ease on the
move.2 Blaikie Kourika Klear Star, 11 month blue. Beautiful colour with good
markings. Coat was of lovely harsh texture and beautifully groomed. Lovely
balanced head, nice moulding of foreface. Good reach of neck, enhanced by
a big white collar. Moved well. 3. Congdon’s Derbypark Incantation for
Aaronwell.
JUNIOR(13,5ab)
1.
Waterhouse’s Lynmead Danfrebeck Truly Yours. Every now and then you
might meet the Rough Collie that will give you ‘goose bumps’ –
this was that moment for me. What an outstanding bitch this young lady is.
Super well balanced head, beautiful almond shaped eye set correctly, well
placed stop, moulding of foreface , ears bang on top used non-stop, all combining
to give an expression that took my breath away. Well arched neck, body shape
with plenty of bone but still so feminine. Super coat presented in tip top
condition. Moved effortlessly around the ring. CC & BOB, this gave the
Lynmead kennel a day to remember by gaining a much deserved double CC today.
Well done. 2. Frank’s Danfrebek Truly Mady Deeply with Alanita, litter
sister to 1. A little larger all around but still so much to like about her.
Lovely head with good moulding of foreface , well placed stop lovely eyes
and expression. Well placed ears again used so well by a lady that loves showing.
Big white collar enhances her lovely neck. Coming back into coat which again
was well presented. Moved with drive. 3. Loader’s Redola Soul to Cherish.
NOVICE(11, 5ab)
1.
Brooker’s Caronlea Celtic Connection with Corisian. 12 month old s/w
who just pipped her lovely sister into first place. Lovely head, good stop,
nice moulding, flat skull. Well used and placed ears. Good reach of neck and
body shape. Well let down hocks all enabling her to move well. 2. O’Neills
Caronlea B Witched, another lady with a good head pattern. More coat than
her sister at this stage , presented to perfection. Good length of head, nice
moulding of foreface , lovely eye and expression , good bone and substance.
Moved ok. 3. Coulson’s Bluchip Secret Skye.
POST GRAD (18, 4ab)
1. Hollywood’s Amalie Simply Amy, what a super young lady out of the
same mould as my CC winner, both having the same father. Well balanced head
with such a delightful eye and expression.well placed stop and filled in foreface
and muzzle. Total femininity applies to her. Covered in a perfectly groomed
coat . Lovely body shape good bend of stifle well let down hocks all enabling
her to cover the ground with no effort. RES CC. 2.Sibbald’s Lynmead
Love Me Too at Telforth JW . A very attractive s/w who was presented and handled
to a tee. Slightly larger than my first but still feminine. Good head well
placed ears that she used constantly- she must be a joy for her handler to
show. Nice overall body shape , good reach of neck. Moved well. 3. Jone’s
Lynviews Golden Treacle.
LIMIT (14,7ab)
1. Grainger’s & Nagrecha’s Samhaven Springtime , flashy sable
who caught my attention. Good head patterns, nice dark shaped eyes and well
placed ears which she used non – stop whilst showing for her handler.
Lovely body shape and reach of neck covered by a beautifully presented coat.
2.Cooney’s Emryks Ellie at Lingwell. Glamorous sable expertly turned
out and handled by her young handler. Stood four square and showed like a
veteran. Good head , sweet eye and expression good ear carriage. Lovely size
and shape. Nice short hocks. Just coming back into nice coat. 3. Reid’s
Soroko Blue Belle.
OPEN (9,2ab)
1.
Hodge’s Jopium Magic in the Mist JW ,SHCM , a quality blue merle who
is such a pretty colour. In super coat and condition, presented to perfection.
Nice length of head, lovely rounded muzzle , good stop, correctly placed and
shaped eyes and well used ears which all combined , gave her a beautiful expression.
Nice length of neck , lovely body shape , neat well let down hock , good bend
of stifle. 2. Collin’s Ch. Salsina Celtic Rosebud at Truburle JW , s/w
although rather plain looking there is so much to like about her. Nice head
patterns , well placed ears which she used to her advantage. Well laid back
shoulders , good length of neck and body shape. Covered in lovely coat which
was presented first class . A joy to watch her move around the ring. 3. McEntee’s
