London & Provincial Collie Championship Show 18-11-07

I would like to thank the London & Provincial for inviting me to Judge their Show, it has been a long time coming. I was still serving on The British Collie Club when I was invited to Judge their show, but well worth the wait. I enjoyed my day and was very pleased with the quality, and to thank the exhibitors, some had a long journey, and I know did not get home until 11.00pm.

MPD 16 (1a) A very nice MP class.
1.Hassock’s CAMANNA CAUSING CHAOS this puppy took my eye the minute he walked into the ring, and I was not disappointed when I went over him. Lovely Moulded head, well set ears, obliquely set eye, giving that sweet expression, good reach of neck, well off for bone, super coat and condition, and moved so soundly for a young puppy. Reserve CC BP and BPIS

2. Cronk’s CHELBORN KISS ‘N’TELL Very glamorous tri puppy in excellent condition, well balanced head with neat ears, sweet eye and expression. Well constructed with plenty of bone and substance, stood and showed well.

1.Stretton’s JAYBID FLASH HARRY 11.1/2 months old sable clean wedge shape head, well moulded foreface, nice set ears giving desired expression, good reach of neck, level top line nice make and shape moved well.

2.Griffiths KEIKOSANDS SUNDOWN DREAMER 8 month old sable, this puppy presents a nice picture standing and is made nicely just needs to mature in head which should come with time. Stood and showed well.

1.Llewellyn’s SALSINA SHOWSTOPPER sable and white lovely head pattern, with obliquely set eye giving that desired expression, well set ears good reach of neck onto well constructed body, moved soundly, showed non stop.

2.Bradshaw’s TRENLEY TEDDY EDWARD AT YSLANN sable 4th in MP very nice type just lacking in the furnishing department, compared to the others in his previous class, he has a well balanced head with a nice eye and expression, good construction and moved soundly, will make a nice adult.

1.Brown’s MERTRISA EXTRA COOL When I first saw him as a puppy, I liked him, he is just my type for head eye and expression which is very hard to fine on a tri, lovely moulded foreface nice clean stop. He is very glamorous with a nice white collar and his coat is very black, which is very appealing. He has a good reach of neck nice level top line and moves with drive one to look out for the future.

1,Buckley’s LYNMEAD LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT CASSABY Sable who is not the best of show boys but he has a quality about him, and has a very nice head, which is clean and well moulded with a nice eye. He is well constructed and has the shape to go with it, and moves with drive.

2. Browns LYNMEAD LOVE ME DO WITH MERTRISA litter brother to one, I think this dog has improved a lot, I was pleasantly surprised, he has a nice clean head with sweet eye and expression, just a bit longer in head than his brother, but has the same qualities, moved well.

3.Collins JOPIUM TOUCH OF SOUL FOR TRIBURLE JW

1.Congdon’s TOPPERTEAM’S LOVE DE LUX AVEC AARONWELL (Imp Dan) Sable of good quality lovely body shape good reach of neck showed himself off well. Well off for bone and substance in good condition moved well.

2.Cunnington’s GEMASTRA AZURE MINE blue dog, when he stands and relaxes he shows off his virtues, he has a clean head with a very nice expression, correct stop and well set ears, obliquely set eye and well moulded foreface. Lovely shape, well off for bone, and moves freely, I was pleasantly surprised.

3.Brown & Payne CARRISWILLOW MY FIRST WISH

1.Harris’s SAMHAVEN THIERRY SCORES FOR CARRISWILLOW Very nice sable in fabulous coat and condition, not a hair out of place. Nice clean head with obliquely set eye, well set ears, good reach of neck nice level top line. This dog is in complete unison with his handler, he did not put a foot wrong, moved well.

2.Broadhead’s ELSAMOS SOUL STAR sable and white dog of good quality, head handles well, sweet eye and expression good overall body shape, well presented moved OK.

3.Ludlow’s CARRISTINA COLORADO KID AT MALINA

1.Hawkins BRILYN SECRET WEAPON I have not seen this dog since he came under me over two years ago, and my how he has come into his own. Nice head pattern with correctly placed eye, giving that desired expression, good reach of neck and well constructed body, nice level top line, correctly set tail nice little hocks moved with drive.

2.Hodges JOPIUM COOL TOUCH JW Sh CM Blue dog I have always liked, but he did not want to show himself off today. Quality head which was a pleasure to handle, with almond shaped eye, well set ears, well off for bone and substance good conformation which showed in his sound movement.

1.Grainger’s CH SAMHAVEN TOAST MARSTER Another nice dog, from this kennel which instantly appeals, he has a tremendous amount of coat, that was groomed to perfection, and he looked so well in his best bib and tucker. I liked him when he first came out as a puppy and I still feel the same. Beautiful head and expression with almond shape eye, giving the most exquisite expression, ears bang on top and he showed non stop. Lovely outline made a nice picture, moved well round the ring, which he did several times, for the CC. BOB and BIS. Thank you for bringing him under me.

2. Congdon’s BLACK JACK DE CATHYJA VIA AARONWELL (Imp Fra) This dog was giving a lot away on maturity. He is a lovely type, but needs time, to mature and grow his coat. He has a very nice head pattern, lovely sweet eye, correctly placed stop and well set ears. Nice make and shape, moved well, I think he has a bright future.

1.Philpin’s MAQUEEBA ITALIAN DREAM AT TUDORLYN 9 Years old and not showing his age, he is in very good shape, Lovely wedge shape head with sweet eye and expression, excellent teeth. Good reach of neck, good length of back, moved so well for his age, and showed non stop, it was a pleasure to handle him.

2. James DEANJAN DEL BOY JW.Almost 10 years old and showing his age, he is a smaller type than one, but he has a nice head pattern with sweet eye and expression, nice body shape with good neck, moved well.
