The breed note writer for Shelties in “Dog World” has recently reported that Shannon Thomas had a very good day at Darlington Championship show in September 2003 where she won the YKC pastoral stakes and also the YKC 12 to 15 years handling, both are Crufts qualifiers. This is the third time this year she has won both her classes at Championship shows, the first at SKC in May winning the YKC pastoral stakes and YKC handling, then at Leeds she won both handling classes, the YKC and JHA, again all Crufts qualifiers.

On every occasion Shannon has handled Myter Reach For The Moon and hence, she will, along with our other juniors, will be really looking forward to competing at Crufts in 2004 and “flying the flag for the Shelties”.
