Please note: The dates have recently been changed to reduce the holiday to one week! Peter Harsanyi, of the Hungarian Collie Club, has put together a fantastic programme for the 2008 holiday, details of which are as follows:

Mon 29 Sept - arrival Budapest and transfer to the Hotel Ibis (city centre)

Tues 30 Sept – Coach tour to Fot and the Károlyi Temple; visit the Lázár Lovaspark horse farm at Domonyvölgy for an equestrian demonstration; dinner with gypsy music. PRICE: 35 EURO [approx £27.50] min 40 people

Wed 1 Oct – Sightseeing in Budapest. 1600 hrs – ICS Conference PRICE 5 EURO or £4.00
Free coffee, tea, mineral water and cake provided by the Hungarian Collie Club.

Thurs 2 Oct - Coach tour to Dunakanyar and Szentendre; visit the historic village of Skanzen; Esztergom and its Basilica and Treasury; a walk round Visegrád castle; followed by a mediaeval dinner at the Restaurant Renessaince. PRICE 60 EURO [approx £47.00] Min 40 people

Frid 3 Oct - FREE DAY. 1800hrs – the official dinner party organised by the Hungarian Collie, Sheltie & Corgi Club. [Price to be announced later]

Rough Bitches (Intermediate, Open & Champions’ class) - Ildiko Muzslai (Double Scotch Collies)
Rough Dogs (Intermediate, Open, Champions class, BOB/BIS) – Peter Harsanyi (Koakoi Collies)

Mon 6 Oct - FREE DAY with early evening departure

The Hotel Ibis (west side of the city of Budapest): Double room @ 88 Euros/night (approx. £66.00)
Single occupancy @ 79 Euros/night (approx. £60.00)
Cost per dog @ 10 Euros/night (max. 10 dogs)
