Robert and Jill Angell have been Seafood Consultants for over 15 years - to some of the major seafood production companies in both the UK and Europe. We advise companies where to source seafood, which is rapidly becoming very scarce in our oceans.

Jill Angell's marketing background has been used over the years to research the seafood industry, and to try to find better uses of our by products. 'Sailors take risks every day to go out to fish in all weathers - and there are fewer and fewer fish in the sea. We must make the most of our precious natural resources' says Jill Angell.
So it was in 2004 that Jill and Robert Angell started making Dog Treats from the fish off-cuts which were not required by the major supermarket chains.

"At first we made them at home in the Aga - our Great Danes loved them, and their coats were glossy and bursting with health. Gradually our neighbours asked for them, and we started making more and more. Local retailers asked about them, and we started making them in bulk. Soon the Aga wasn't big enough to cope, and we decided to take on new premises and more staff, and now we are making them and selling them to responsible dog lovers all over the country.

We commissioned a specially - designed industrial oven to cook the Fish Treats in. All sorts of flavours have been produced, and we are always on the look out for different sources of fish and shellfish.
We have spent the last 12 months conducting in-depth research into the benefits of feeding fish to dogs.
But we don't need to conduct a Survey to collect all the favourable comments from our customers!
