5 January Well we hope everyone had a nice Christmas and didn't get too drunk over the New Year celebrations!!! When we moved here, as our friends will know, it was partly as we had been 'attacked' for two years with falling trees, dropping like matchsticks in Powys.......Well all I can say is we must have a peculiar effect on trees.....this happened at 10am today!!!!!
1 December Christmas is nearly upon us and two shows remaining. British Collie this weekend and LKA next. The KC have announced a small change to Rough Collie breed Standard colours, in that they now say All white or predominantly white is highly undesirable. What is this telling us? We can't show a white collie or predominantly white collie?.. It only says highly undesirable! The same as for light straw or cream coloured sables or rusty tinges to Tricolours, and large black markings and slate coloured etc on blue Merles. The latter three cases we still have in the ring. Being highly undersirable doesn't stop these being shown or am reading this incorrectly? Comments?. . ? 13 November EACA have re-instated Junior Handling Classes and training at their shows. As it happens there is a new DVD available from DW shop, by Marina Scott called Complete Guide to Junior Handling. We have had a telephone enquiry this morning from a lady in Manchester. She has lost her BM male and is looking for a BM bitch this time. Needs to be close to her area. Ring me if you have any - 01745 585189 9 November 2011 Welcome to our new blog.
