K.C Accredited Breeders Hazel Hunt and Pam Cornish
In 1943 Hazel bought her first Rough Collie from the famous Beulah Kennels of Mrs George. The puppy was called Beulah's Golden Fantasy and was the daughter of two champions. She went on to produce a line of Collies many of them champions that are still winning today.
Hazel has written two books on the breed and has judged at many shows abroad, from Scandinavia to Australia, plus all the major Championship shows in this country, including being one of the few judges to have judged Rough Collies at Crufts twice. Pam Cornish [Derrick] joined Hazel as a partner some 30 years ago, but bought her first Rough Collie in 1971 and bred her first litter in 1973. Pam has taken up the mantel that Hazel has left off and become a Championship Show Judge. All the Rifflesea Collies start life in Pam's kitchen, and she is justly proud of their robust health and sound temperaments, for which the Rifflesea Collies are renowned. All breeding stock is Eye Tested, MDR1 Tested and Hip Scored.
Breeding has been restricted over the last few years but we hope to have a litter by Christmas, sired by Atendus French Franc out of one of our winning granddaughters of International Champion Lakefield Love is in the Air.
