Hi There...... I'm Veronica and I come from near Loch Lomond in Scotland

My interest in Rough Collies started in December 1990 when my boyfriend at the time [We're now married] was going to Ireland for Christmas and asked me to look after his dog. He was a tricolour Rough Collie called Sam. Sam was from the Castlelaird Kennel and was sired by Stronvar Silent Warrior. Neither
of us had any interest in showing dogs at that time, although often
thought about it for in the future. For my birthday present in the same year my husband bought me my own affix "Raincove". This is an anagram of my name. It was one of three choices being the best one I think.
I started showing Carly from 8 months and I like showing that much I decided to get another Rough Collie. I went to the Stronvar Kennels again, getting a tricolour dog this time. Carly was mated to Ir Ch Lynmead Lust After Me at Caronlea (Bailey) Owned by Karen O’Neill and the puppies were born 23 October 2007. Carly had 4 pups in this her first litter. 2 dogs and 2 bitches. All pups apart from the one we are keeping were sold before they were born.
Raven is a very laid back dog, so laid back you need a JCB to move him out of your way. He has done better than Carly in the ring. Raven has a BPIG from Clydebank & District Canine Society, Best Rough Collie Puppy at Livingstone Canine Society being awarded the Beldyce Trophy and got his first BOB at Cambuslang Canine Club Wishaw 15 April 2007.

Her name is Chloe and her first outing is the Ayrshire Collie Club Breed Open Show held on Sunday 23 March 2008. She will be entering the Baby Puppy Class.
