and Welcome to KEIKOSANDS ROUGH COLLIES.
My
Father and I decided to show Rough Collies, as I had always wanted
to. I used to have a pet Sheltie called "Smokey".
06/11/93 - 26/05/05
We sadly lost Smokey in 2005 through illness caused by old age and
I had to
make one of the hardest decisions that I have ever made to let him
go.
It
was towards the end of April 2004 that we decided to buy our first
show collie "Angel" from Pauline and Brian Skyrme [Emryks].
Then in June 2005 I decided to buy "Shilo" from Gee McEntee
[Gerian]. I asked her if I could put my name down for a puppy from
Ch Harper's Field Xeltic Lord of the Dance at Gerian. I love Rough
Collies, not just because of Lassie, but because of their beauty and
elegance.
We
are just starting to breed sable and whites and hopefully in the future
we will be starting to breed blue merle's and tri-colours.

SUNAFFAIR AT KEIKOSANDS [Shilo]

Shilo
came to us from Gee McEntee in July 2005.
He has a lovely personality, he is so loveable and affectionate.
At 0pen shows he has had 7 BOB's, G3 [Leominster Canine Society] and
RBOB,
and qualified for Crufts 2006 4 times in 2 months. He gained 2 x VHC's
at Crufts 2006.

came to our home in June 2004 from Pauline and Brian Skyrme.
She has a wonderful personality and is very affectionate.
At Open shows she has achieved: 3 X BPIB; Best AV Puppy; Puppy Group
1; 2 X RBOB; 4X BOB
She also qualified 3 times in the year for Crufts 2006.

Holly
came to us in February 2006, our young hopeful. She will be shown
from July 2006. Holly qualified for
Crufts 2007 at age 6 months.....On 28th Aug, Holly was BPIB &
PB4 Leominster Canine Society.
Holly has a wonderful personality and temperament. Holly continues
to do well and has won her 5th BPIB.

Holly took BOB at the Kington Dog show 2007
Shilo
has now sired his first litter with our Angel and I will look forward
to showing his puppies in the ring,
beginning of Autumn.
