Chantique Summer Breeze

gone.....but not forgotten ...love you breezy

Our names are ANDRE AND CHANTAL SCOTT and we have been showing and breeding Rough Collies for over 25 years. 2005 saw some big changes for us, as we moved from East Sussex to Lincolnshire and bought a boarding kennels and cattery named "TIPTREE PET HOTEL", which is going really well.

Andre has been showing and breeding Rough Collies since 1979 for some of that period it was under the affix of "Coleanne", which he shared with his parents Colin and Jean. Chantal started in 1980 with her then affix "WOODWICK", both kennels breeding and winning with top quality dogs. Chantal then gave up the Woodwick affix and started the "Chantique" affix in 1988. We then decided to unite in the Chantique affix in 1990. We have brought together some of the most prestigious breeding lines namely, Arranbrook, Aberhill, Pelido, Brettonpark and Mallicot.

We have had one champion, Coleanne Stormy Affair who got 4 CC's and 2 RCC's.

Coleanne So Precious got 2 CC's.

Coleanne Blue Thunder got 3 RCC's.

"Stormy Affair" and "So Precious" both got the Dog and Bitch CC's at the London & Provincial Championship Show in 1992, which was an unbelievable day for us all.

Also Rahlissa Stormy Romance at Coleanne [a son of Stormy Affair] got the RCC when his father got the DCC at Paignton 1992.

Going back to 1983 Chantal had a bitch called Cessnocks Chit Chat of Woodwick JW. In that year between the 30th July and 21st August she won 4 Best Puppy in Show awards at All Breeds Open show level, two of which were in one weekend.

Woodwick Nice N' Sweet gained her 1st CC at the London Collie Club Championship show in 1989. "Tiger" was not campaigned much after that due to home committments, so never gained her title.Chantique Summer Breeze got a Res. CC but was only lightly shown due to the fact that we have triplet boys who are now 11 years old [2005]. When the boys were little it was very hard to get to shows, to breed litters, well to do practically anything but now they are older things are easier. Our adult male Chantique Scooby Doo also gained a Res CC but again was only lightly shown due to a busy home life.

At the present time we have two up and coming young ladies namely, "Love in the Sun with Gerian" [Sally] who we had from Gee McEntee and "Chantique LoopyLoo" [Sally's daughter by Gerian Sundance]. Both girls had litters in 2005. Love in the Sun was mated to Chantique Scooby Doo and we have kept a young man called Chantique Scrappy Doo. . Loopy Loo was mated to Amalie Mild Affair and we have kept Chantique Lemony Snickett. We hope to be in the show ring a lot more next year.

Chantique Loopy Loo won Best Bitch and Best in Show at the Yorkshire Collie Open Show 27th May 06 under
Jo Hodges ( Jopium) and her daughter Chantique Lemony Snicket won Best Puppy Bitch.

At the Yorkshire Collie Club Open Show on 4th February 2007, Chantique Loopy Loo won Best Bitch and Best in Show, again, this time under judge Mrs Margo Walker [Starlenga]. A big thank you to both judges.

SENT WITH LOVE TO CHANTIQUE (TWINKLE)
Ch Samhaven Toastmarster ex Chantique Love Me Doo

Here is our new little star, hence the reason we called her Twinkle.
[Photo taken at 6 months by Derek Brown]

We would like to thank Chris and Helen for letting us have 'Twinkle' .........she is especially treasured after they tragically lost her mum 'Barley' , within a matter of 4 hours to pyometra, at the tender age of two years old. Barley will always be remembered by us all .............Rest in Peace Dear Barley.

We breed from our girls when we want a puppy for ourselves. Our puppies are reared in the home, well socialised, totally used to children [well who wouldn't be with our three boys].

Finally we would like to say how much we have enjoyed our years in dog showing, breeding and judging. We have judged in England, Scotland and Wales and last year judged the Dutch Collie Club Show, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We have met many many friends and had so many good times and I hasten to add, we look forward to many more years with our dogs.

Puppies in all three colours sometimes available to show/pet homes.
All stock eye tested.
