My interest in dogs in general and "collies" in particular goes back to my childhood. I always wanted a Collie ever since watching "Lassie" films, and we purchased our first collie just after we got married, in fact as soon as we returned from our honeymoon we bought our first Rough Collie, and apart from a short period between the early death of our first Rough Collie and the purchase of our second we have always had a collie.

Our first dog we showed was a sable and white bitch "Just a Doll at Goffs" which we called Holly, she was bought initially as a pet, and was entered into a show just as a bit of fun. From this early beginning we have been exhibiting and breeding our own stock.

It took 5 years before our first litter, but it was worth the wait, we had 6 puppies in the first litter, this was from our tri-colour bitch "Tentola Total Eclipse at Tudorlyn" who was mated with "Glenbowdene Glint of Gold" these dogs have the most wonderful temperament and are very outgoing. We kept two of this litter "Sam" [Tudorlyn Latin Lover JW] & "Shelley [Tudorlyn Tender Love].

Both have done well in the show ring, but Sam more so. Sam gained his Junior Warrant and Stud Book Number at 15 months. Some of his wins are: 20 BOB, 11 RBOB and many group placings including 2 x Best Dog in Show awards.

Tudorlyn Tender Love

Before we had this first litter we purchased "Maqueeba Italian Dream at Tudorlyn" [Spencer] from Tina May's Maqueeba Kennel. He is a wonderful dog, well boned with a wonderful temperament. He has had a good show career so far being awarded Best Puppy in Show at L & p in 1998 and the Dog C.C. and Best of Breed at LKA in 2002 under the judge Lisa Burtenshaw [Pelido] and we thank her very much for that.

Spencer is now a veteran and has been successful in all veteran classes he has entered.

Spencer, has been used successfully on a number of bitches, other owners as well as our own and is very much siring puppies to type with excellent temperaments. He is offered at stud to approved bitches.

Spencer has been mated to one of our own bitches "Tudorlyn Tender Love" in 2003, and we had 8 puppies from this mating, one of which we kept for showing "Tudorlyn Country Girl" [Abby].

Our next litter was from "Tentola Total Eclipse at Tudorlyn" sired by "Ch Deeohn Blue Devoted to Ileyda" from this litter we kept another tri bitch "Tudorlyn Willow Wishes". Willow, she in turn has been mated to "Ch Sassari Big Bold 'n' Blue" and from this litter we kept a blue dog "Tudorlyn True Blue Wishes"[Oscar].

Oscar is a very loving dog and full of life, so much so that if there is any trouble with the other dogs he is usually involved somewhere along the line!!

Our most recent mating in 2005 was with "Tudorlyn Country Girl" and sired by "Clairone Lonely Dreamer with Pelido" from this litter we have kept two sable and white pups [dog/bitch] Bailey "Tudorlyn Supa Trooper & Annie "Tudorlyn Dolly Mixture" both of these have had Best Puppy awards.
