In August 2009 I was lucky enough to be granted my
first choice of kennel name by the Kennel Club, Rashel.
I am relatively new to showing and have loved this
beautiful and intelligent breed since I was a child, watching the
Lassie films as many other people have probably watched themselves,
I have learned a lot about the breed but still have so much to learn.
I purchased my first Rough Collie to show from Sue
and Dave Randall [Ladnar Collies], a lovely and very friendly couple
who have become great friends of ours. My husband and I must thank
them for all the help, advice and encouragement they have given us.
It was
back in April 2008 after a long time on the waiting list, that my
husband Eddie and I purchased our first Ladnar Rough Collie puppy,
a very loving and adorable sable bitch whom we named Daisy, the daughter
of Ladnar Special Bond, a stunning dog who I truly admire. Her mother
is the very beautiful and sweet Heidi, Ladnar Ginger Rogers.

Daisy
is an extremely loving and sweet natured girl who loves everyone she
meets and is a real chatterbox which just makes us love her more.
At shows which Daisy has attended she has had moderate success gaining
3rd Maiden Bitch at Collie Club of Wales Ch Show, VHC Puppy Bitch
at Lancs & Cheshire Open Show, 2nd Junior Bitch at Lancs &
Cheshire Open Show, 3rd MPB at Midland Collie Open Show.
In September
2009 Daisy met her Prince Charming...the very handsome Benjamin [Ladnar
Doctor Pepper] who she instantly fell in love with and together they
produced 3 gorgeous shaded sable puppies on 25th November 2009, 2
males and 1 female. They are all thriving very well and keeping mum
busy. So at this present time our lovely Daisy is enjoying life with
her babies.
Some
time later my husband and I decided to bring home a very pretty sable
puppy bitch from the Ladnar Kennels, we have called her Poppy. It
is this very beautiful girl with whom we have been having lots of
fun in the show ring. When Poppy puts her mind to it she can achieve
some nice wins.

Poppy & Daisy
My husband
and I would like to thank all the judges who have admired and placed
Poppy. We hope that our beautiful girls success continues.
I
would like to introduce 'Katie' one of our first home-bred Rashel
puppies. The only bitch puppy out of Daisy's litter. My husband
and I decided to keep Katie ourselves as we both feel she will
be a real asset to our kennel. Katie has such a loving and friendly
temperament and just like her mum enjoys the company of people
and has so many story's to tell. Katie as yet has not been shown
but we look forward to showing her in the very near future.
