We
are a small kennel and our dogs are firstly part of the family and
secondly reward us by their performance in the show ring. We have
been in Rough Collies for over 20 years, longer if one counts those
who were solely pets before the "show bug" got hold of us.
About
10 years ago we saw a tri bitch, Steelhurst Magic Moments from the
Steelhurst kennels and decided those were the lines we wanted to follow
- a decision which we have never regretted - both from a beauty, conformation,
and a temperament perspective.

At
the Scottish Collie Breed Show in December she gained 1st Minor
puppy bitch ,1st maiden bitch,Best Puppy Bitch, Reserve Best Bitch,
Best puppy in Show and Reserve Best in Show at 7.5 months
Again at The Caledonian Open Show in Febrary2008 she was 1st Junior
Bitch ,Best Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy, Best Bitch and Best of Breed.
She then went on to gain Puppy Group 2. |

“Rory” has had an exciting and successful puppy career, starting off in his first Show (at the age of 6 months) winning Green Star Dog at Portadown Championship Show-Judge Mr.J. Mc Gucken. Thereafter he won BPIS at N. & D.-Judge Mr. C. Robinson, B.P in Breed and P. G. 2 at Kirkcaldy and D. C.C. and BoB at Dundee C.S.
In Ireland following his 1st Green Star he won Res. Green Star at Banbridge Championship Show a month later–Judge-Mrs. P. Dempsey.
Finally through the course of the Irish Championship Circuit he gained 4 Green Stars thus giving him his Ir. Junior Champion (to be confirmed)
The icing on the cake was, at the All Ireland C.C. under Judge Mrs. W. Smith (Gemastra) he was awarded a fifth Green Star and a Reserve Best in Show. “Rory” only requires 1 more Green Star to become an Irish Champion. These successes gave him the Circuit Points Trophy for the year.

enjoyed all our many show successes with our dogs and have met and
made great friends
both in this country and abroad and are more than happy to "talk
dogs" at any time with anyone.
