Phenix is a wonderful boy to live with so full of mischief and a temperament second to none. Phenix attended his first championship show with excellent results we were so proud of him when he won a very good 2nd in his MPD class at Midland Counties qualifing him for Crufts first time out. Wow what a fantastic day Collie Association Championship show turned out to be this being the last breed club championship show of 2008. Our lovely boy "Phenix" won his minor puppy class and was awarded Best Puppy Dog under Brenda Cooney ( Lingwell ) and later in the day after challenging the bitch puppy was awarded Best Minor Puppy in Show and Best Puppy in Show under Mrs E Oliver ( Amberglen ) Many thanks to both judges for a fantastic day.!!! Our handsome young man finished 2008 on a good note winning Best puppy Dog at LKA Championship show, Then to start the new year of nicely Phenix won Best puppy Dog and Best opposite sex puppy in show at EACA open show. |

Phenix
puppy career finished on a high with him winning all the top honours
at Collie Association Open Show. BPIB, BPIS, BD & BIS, Judge Miss
I Beaden [Myriehewe]. Just 12 months and 4 days into his junior career
Pheonix won his 2nd Res CC at Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales
judge Mr P Bailey [Beechwyre]. At WELKS the following week he won
his 2nd CC and BOB judge Marion Penwarne. At the same show as his
mum Lancs/Cheshire CC Ch Show Phenix won the RDCC to add to his already
impressive collection.Judge Mrs G Wilcock [Australia]Many thanks to
the above judges for some unforgettable days!! *New's
up date*. After waiting nearly 4 months for the tailors to fit Phenix
with his new coat. He came out in style at Midland Counties Championship
show to win his 3rd CC. This make's the lovely Phenix our 2nd homebred
Champion!! what an achievement for our small select kennels. We would

The
British Collie Club held their Rough Collie & Junior Rough Collie
of the year contest on Saturday 30th January 2010. Qualifiers to this
contest are those Rough Collies that have been awarded a Challenge Certificate,
Reserve Challenge Certificate or a Best Puppy in Breed award during
2009. Breed specialist judges on this occasion were Mr .P. Marsh (Mirpet)
Mr J. Basing (Arranbrook) and All Rounder judge Mr C. Lunt (Louarne). Phenix
had a super day out at Crufts for the 2nd year running winning his yearling
class and the RCC. Crufts
Critique 2010 Rough collie dogs. Phenix was awarded his 8th RCC at London & Provincial Collie Club CH
Phenix congratulates his first born daughter Ladnar Skylark on her 2RCC and her half brother bred & owned by Alison Grainger Samhaven on the Crest winning his first RCC & BPIS at the tender age of 11 months!!! Our handsome Phenix ended the year nicely at LKA winning his 11th RCC, also at the same show his latested daughter Jotars Enchanted Moon won BPB her very first show Charm is bred by Sharon Gladwell who we wish continued success with this precious young lady, Many thanks to judge Pat Lister(Newarp). Phenix attended theBritish Collie Club Championship Show his first of 2012 and was awarded his 12th RCC. Many thanks to judge Andre Scott [Chantique] The Collie Club of Wales Championship show held on 7th April 2012 turned out to be an exciting day with our handsome boy Phenix winning his 13th RCC and his daughter winning her 1st CC, BOB & BIS. Many thanks to dog judge Wendy Hill (Buebezi) & bitch judge Marion Penwaren (Sheldamar) for a fantastic day Xx. Phenix & his daughter Skylark had a fantastic day out at Collie Association Championship show on 25th November 2012 winning the RCCs from two different judges. This win now gives Phenix a total of 14 RCCs, Many thanks to Judge Iris Cummings ( Altnareagh) Phenix had a lovely day out at Collie Club of Wales winning his 9th CC and RBIS Many thanks to judges Chris & Merv Casling. |

Introducing Pixi the wild one of the bunch!!!!, This little madam is so full of herself you never know what she is going to get up to next!!! On a more serious side when she gets her act together Pixi can pull out all the stops and by doing just that she won her very first Championship MPB class at Midland Counties qualifying her for Crufts first time out. Our
Lovely Pixi such a sweet lady a little slower to mature and somewhat
overshadowed by her brother Kingfisher has none the less been making
quite a name for herself. Placed at every show attended and with some
nice results too. At Crufts Pixi won a lovely VHC in strong competition.
At the same show as her brother W & P Breeds of Wales she won
a very nice 2nd in JB & 1st in NB. The following week at WELKS
she was 2nd in JB & 3rd YB. |

Ladnar Skylark JW 2 CC, 6 RCC [Kitty] Introducing our lovely Kitty. Well what can I say. She is every breeders dream, a joy to live with and a confident show girl who gives 100 and one per cent. The first daughter to be sired by our Phenix making her extra special.Kitty has turned quite a few heads and had a fantastic start to her show career winning many 1st along with..BPB at London Collie Club open show -judge Sandy Blackmore [Magenta]; at Lancs & Cheshire Collie Club open show she won BMP, BPB, BPIB, BB & Res BOB under Mark Hales [Markenfield]. Shortly followed by BPIB & Res BB at Manchester Ch Show, no CC's for our breed judge on the day was Lene Newman [Phreelancer]. The following week a trip to Northumberland and Durham Collie Club open show saw her go BPIS under Mrs C Proctor [Cathbri]Kitty would like to thank all the above judges for these lovely awards.xx Following in her daddy’s and grandmas footsteps kitty had a fantastic day out at the Collie Association Open show on 27.3.11. Kitty's done it again!!! BPIS at EACA Open Show. Many Thanks to Judge Maxine Mellish. *Show News Up Date* Grandma did it, Daddy did it and now daughter has it!! Our lovely Kitty gained her final points for her Junior Warrant at Three Counties Championship Show on June 11 2011. Many thanks to Gwen Beaden [Myriehewe]. Wow what a day we had at Blackpool Championship Show with our lovely Kitty winning the RCC from the Junior Bitch Class. Many thanks to Gael Wilcock from Australia for a fantastic day xx After a 4 months rest growing a new coat our lovely Kitty came back out in style winning the RCC with RBOB at London & Provincial Collie Club. Many Thanks to Judge Pat Hutchinson [ Karibuni ] The lovely Kitty finished the year on a high at LKA winning her 3rd RCC just out of junior Many thanks to Pat Lister ( Newarp) 2012 started of nicely for our Kitty at Lancs & Cheshire Collie Club the first Breed Club Open show of the year our judge was Ros McDonald (Rossavon) - Kitty was awarded RBB & RBOB later in the day the BIS judge Peter Bailey awarded her RBIS. Many Thanks to both judges for a wonderful day Kitty's next show was L & P Open show where she was awarded RBB. Many thanks to Marianne Benton [Oakestelle] this was shortly followed by Crufts, Kitty took everything in her stride and lapped up all the attention she was getting from her rather big fan club!!! Entered in one of the biggest classes of the day Kitty won a very respectable 2nd out of 27. Many thanks to our judge Pauline Skyrme [Emryks] Wow didn’t we have a fantastic day out with our lovely Kitty at The Collie Club of Wales Championship Show on the 7th April 2012. Winning her 1st CC with BOB & BIS. Many Thanks to Judge Marion Penwarne (Sheldamar). Our next show was to be W&PBA of Wales the long trip payed dividends for us with Kitty accumulating her 2nd CC with BOB. Many Thanks to our A trip to Smooth Collie Club of GB seen Kitty come away with RBB & RBOB Many thanks to our judge Peter Seawell. Kitty’s next Championship show was too be Lancs/Cheshire Collie Club. There were no CCs on offer for Rough collies due to rotation. Our judge was Mr W Rogerson and to our delight he awarded Kitty BB & BOB. Later in the day kitty then challenged the smooth collie to win BIS under Mr H Jones (Seafire) Many thanks to both judges for a wonderful day xx. Kitty’s return to the show ring has been well received winning BB at City of Birmingham CH show 1/09/12 no CCs on offer for Rough Collies. Many thanks to our judge Adrian Milligan ( Alfsden) the next day seen her win the RCC at YCC CH show under Mr H Jones (Seafire). This was then quickly followed by BB & RBOB at Smooth Collie Club CH show again no CCs on offer for Roughs. Many thanks to Trevor Hayward (Foxearth) for a lovely day. Plus another lovely day at the WECS Open Show, Kitty was BB/BOB & BIS. Judge Lene Newman [Phreelancer] Our little trip over seas to Belfast CH show seen our lovely Kitty win her 5th RCC many thanks to Fern Sergeant. Kitty loved her day out at Collie Association Championship show meeting all her friends and having lots of fuss & treats! She added another RCC to her already impressive total, Many thanks to Judge Viv Anderton ( Karava) As 2013 show season kicks off our lovely Kitty attended Lancs/Cheshire Collie Open Show, Judge Alan Gridley [Lanrue] awarded her BOB Rough Collie. Then after challenging the Smooth Collie to our delight Viv Anderton [Karava] awarded her BIS. Many thanks to both judges for a fabulous day. |
