I have always been an animal lover, and owned dogs, cats, and all the various household pets. My interest in Rough Collies was after my car accident in December 1970. At that time I owned two Collie cross bitches, one was killed in the accident, and the other ran away, we can only presume she went looking for her. My next door neighbour had a Rough Collie, and after my stay in hospital, and I could walk again, I used to walk him to school to meet my son. In February 1971 I had purchased my first Rough Collie bitch from May Young [Ugony] |
I started
showing and breeding in 1986 and have been very successful. In 1999 I was Top Breeder and also owned the Top Brood Bitch Gerian Sunbeam who produced three Champions. The sire of Gerian Sunbeam was Gerian Latest Flame, he won the Ladypark Trophy, and also gained his Stud Book Number, and I feel played a large part in my kennel. |

GERIAN SUNSET Brother
of Ch Gerian Sunkissed was only shown lightly as a puppy but proved
his worth more at stud and has sired puppies here and abroad that
have bred on for other kennels. One of his sons Gerian Sunpure owned
by Linda Berghout of the Sea Dreamers Kennel in Holland is producing
quality puppies. Also in April 2006 another one of his son's Ch Gerian
Sundance was awarded his 3rd CC and Champion title. |

now staying with me at my kennel and will not be returning to Holland.

Gerian Sundance has had a fantastic show career with many 1st and 2nd placings at Championship shows and was awarded the CC at Paignton in 2004 and his 2nd CC at Border Union in 2005, getting the double with Gerian Sunberries. His 3rd CC with BOB was awarded at WELKS April 2006. |

CH GERIAN SUNBERRIES has also had a great show career starting 2005 with the Reserve CC at the Collie Club of Wales, and continued with the CC at Border Union, Reserve CC at Darlington, and the CC and Best in Show at Ayrshire Collie. 2006
was a very nice year for Shona, Reserve CC at Bournemouth, CC her
title and Best in Show at Ayrshire Collie, and also Reserve CC at
the Collie Association. |

GERIAN SUNSATION Gerian Sunsation is a son of CH. Harpersfield Xeltic Lord of the Dance at Gerian x Gerian Sunbonnet, a daughter of Gerian Sunset x CH Gerian Sunsilk. Scampy has been consistently placed at all his shows, winning Open Dog twice. He is a very laid back dog with a wonderful temperament. |

2004 I bought into the country for 2 years He has had a very successful show career wining 4 CC's and 2 Reserve CC's. He
will be returning home in April. He has recently produced litters to
a Sunset daughter, hopefully combining both of these lines together. |
