In April 2005 I went to help out at Brian & Sue Hawkins [Brilyn] Kennels and Cattery, and was asked if I'd like to socialise a 4 month old tri dog called Ben [Brilyn Back in Black] as they seemed to think he would benefit from being in a mad house!!

At six months I was encouraged to enter him at an Open Show and thats when I got the bug. I had lots of fun with him and started to meet and make new friends in the collie world.

After Ben came Honey [Brilyn Shaded Secret] whose only pleasure is to be as big a part of our family as she can, she just craves attention. She's not too keen on showing so I have retired her, in the hope she'll be a "yummy mummy".

Ben went to live with Bill and Louise Cutlet in Portmadog, so it was time for me to restock.

Along came Indie, [Brilyn Sing A Rainbow] and Brie [Brilyn Moonlight]. They did quite a lot of Open Shows in and around our area and in October 2006 Indie had a litter of 7 puppies to Ross [Bluchip Spirit in the Skye].

Out of the litter we kept Willow, Elshajo Treasured Memories,
she is the first to have my affix which is made up of my childrens names, Eleri, Shaun and Jodi.

I am a small, friendly and caring kennels situated in North Wales,
and owe my roots to the Brilyn Kennel to whom I am very grateful.
