Figaro's litter sister Tosca, came back to us as a rescue and we decided to mate her to Mallicot Ace of Base. From the litter of 5, one really nice tricolour dog, C. Andantino at Alanita [Basil] went to live with Anita Franks where he did well and gained his Stud Book Number and we kept C. Crescendo [Credo], a wonderfully upstanding golden sable who won a Graduate class at Crufts, gained his Junior Warrant and has won 2 R.C.C's. They have both sired winning puppies and in fact Basil has now come back to live with us and has sired some excellent puppies. |

| We have occasionally bought in stock from other kennels, bred on similar lines to ours, the most notable being a tri, Mystian Cherry Cola at Coarhabeg [Molly] and a sable, Mystian Musical Fantasy at Coarhabeg [Fanta], both sadly no longer with us. |
| Molly
was a brilliant show girl and won well, gained her Stud Book Number and
a Reserve Best in Show at an All Breed Show and then knocked out a tooth
and ruined her show career but she presented me by way of compensation with
three super dog puppies: C. Roaring Forty [Rory] a blue and his litter brother
also a blue, Coarhabeg Silver Cyclone at Garronwood [Shay], by Caerluath
Blue Legend of Figlidelvento. The third was C. Othello [Otto] a jet black
tri by Roller. All gained their Stud Book Numbers, Rory is the sire of C.
Lady of the Lake who has 1 C.C. Shay, who lives in Ireland with Mary Darragh
has 1C.C, 4 Green Stars, 1CACIB and a Best in Show at an All Breed Show. |

"Zonda" had an excellent puppy and junior career qualifying for Crufts many times over and winning a Pastoral Puppy Group 1 and 2 x Pastoral Puppy Group 3. She continued to be consistently placed at both Open and Championship Shows but took time off to have a litter, one of which, Coarhabeg Air Waves over Mikeline is being successfully shown by her owner, Helen Hardman – ( see the Away from Home Section).
2010 was a very quiet year for Zonda due to lack of coat but she came back into the ring at Darlington to win the RCC under Miranda Blake and was also placed VHC in the Reserve Bitch Winners' Stakes Class. 2011 has kicked off to a good start for us at Rough Collie Of The Year on January 29th when Zonda took second place in the Bitch line up. Congratulations to the winner and the other main winners. She went on to win 1st Mid Limit at Crufts and 1st and BOB at Ripon and District Open Show. |
