After always having a dog about the home whilst I was growing up, my father purchased a Rough Collie puppy from a cousin of his

after we had always admired them when visiting. I decided to start showing and soon realised my collie was not of the quality of

others. So I purchased a Pelido bitch who did well for us locally. A few years later I bought in an Amalie bitch who in turn I mated

back to Pelido Forgotten Dreams who produced "Ballahanna Barney Rubble". A RCC winner who won his class at Crufts 2003 and

got numerous BOB's throughout Ireland.

BALLAHANNA BARNEY RUBBLE 1 RCC

A few years back I bought in the litter brother and sister of Samhaven Toast.

Samhaven Brief Encounter with Ballahanna 1 RCC

and Samhaven Suzi's Affair with Ballahanna.

Samhaven Brief Encounter won puppy dog at Crufts and he went on to gain a RCC. He has fathered my current young dog

"Ballahanna Belfast Boy" who I hope to campaign during the Summer of 2007.

Suzi's Affair has just produced a beautiful litter to "Total Recall Du Clos de Seawind to Samhaven". I hope to keep a bitch out of

the litter for showing next year.

I am currently Chairman of the Irish Collie Club and have steadily progressed in my judging career. I hope to get out to more

shows during 2007 and campaign my dogs to give them the chance that their breeding deserves.
