We have greatly admired this lovely breed for a number of years.
Being so involved with Rough Collies [please see our Rough Collie page ]we deliberated long and hard before venturing into another breed.

In July 1997 two dog puppies were purchased from Marshfen kennels, "Romulus [Marshfen Crusader with Pelido" a blue, and "Remus" [Marshfen Voyager with Pelido] , slate. Both became championship show winners. "Remus" winning the Res. CC at Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales, Judge Mrs J Collis. His show career ended due to a foot injury.Both are sired by the breed record holder Ch. Potterdale Privilege.

Pelido Ultimate Dream JW 2RCC's Photo was taken at the Devon County Show where he won Reserve Best in Show. Judge Mr Peter Bailey. Breed Judge Mrs Peggy Bailey. He also won 1st Special Yearling Crufts, Judge Mrs Nan Kirk. and BPIS Alton Open Show, Judge Mrs J. Collis.

Ultimate Dream's litter sister, "Dreamer" [Pelido Beautiful Dreamer] was three Championship Shows Best Puppy Bitch in Breed winner, also twice Best Puppy in Show All Breeds Open Show winner. Respective judges were Mr D. Smith and Mrs K. Le Mare.

At Welsh Kennel Club a new record was achieved by the kennel, ULTIMATE DREAM, winning Open Dog, TI ADORO winning Open Bitch class.

Jones Dog CC Scottish Kennel Club May 2007.Judge Mr D Smith.

PELIDO TI ADORO Best Puppy in breed Three Counties Championship Show, Breed Judge Mr J McManus, and PG4, Judge Mrs Zena Thorn Andrews. Plus first and other placings as a puppy. Produced a lovely litter to PELIDO ANDREA BOCELLI. Best In Show Camberley & District, Breed Judge Mr B Hull, Best In Show Judge Mr Jeff Horswell.

ROBERTO ALANYA with PELIDO was bred by Mr and Mrs Ellingsen.His Sire is CH Malandex Xcalibur, Dam:Pelido Volare,a full sister to Pelido Pavarotti and Pelido Ti Adoro.We feel this superbly bred young man will make a useful addition to our stud team.

The photo of MELLO CELLO and ROBERTO ALANYA was taken at Richmond Championship Show in the challenge for best puppy in breed.
