JUDGES CRITIQUES

EAST ANGLIAN COLLIE ASSOCIATION
CH Show aug 1st
I was honored to be invited to act as Referee, and to judge Best in Show at EACA's Championship show.
I found it unfortunate, that I was called upon as Referee to decide on the Best of Breed , Reserve Best of Breed, Best Veteran & Best Puppy. It is disturbing that when there are two breed Specialist's judging, that there is such a diverse difference of interpretation of the KC Breed Standard.
BEST IN SHOW was the outstanding B/M Bitch CH & IR CH BLACK GARY LA DAME CHERE AT INGLEDENE.
BEST PUPPY IN SHOW was the Tri Bitch GARB EILIDH MHOR

JUDGE BRIAN HOUSE (FIVEJAYS)

It’s an enormous honor to be invited to judge a Championship show. Even more, being a foreigner. I was delighted to be invited to judge bitches and smooths (without CC’s) at East Anglian Collie Association. A big Thank You to my stewards Jim and Betty Peach, for helping sorting everything out with the paper work, which I’m not used to.
