The kennel started in 1974 when my husband bought an English Setter, Brunsteth Cavalier. By a chance meeting with a Mr Elwyn Evans who showed Setters and talked my husband into going to a show just to watch, the showing bug was born. How the kennel name was actually formed, well, we are not too sure!!

I bought my first collie in 1980 from a Mr & Mrs Field, Dameral Little Boy in Blue. As his name suggests, he was a blue merle. His sire was Ch. Cathanbrae Polar Moon at Pelido and his dam was Corydon Blossom in Blue. In 1982 I purchased a blue merle bitch again from Mr & Mrs Field, Dameral Sea Breeze. She was out of a mating from Ch Dameral Aristedes and a white merle, Dameral Snow Queen. We now have Sable & white, Blue Merle and tri-colour Collies.
